Decent Start to My Return to Cash

Published by lefty2432 at 4:32 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

So in my triumphant return to online cash games, I’ve had some fairly good results. I ‘ve made about 3 buy ins in about 700 hands at 50 max NL. For the most part I decided to 3table it, and 4tabled it my second session of the day yesterday. I’m going to keep the post fairly short as I’m dead tired and still have to go back to work at the golf course for a couple hours after I was already there this morning. But anyways…. lets get to the hands.

This one was just fun cause i got to flop quads, but actually don’t like the way that I played it. I thought he had something and the check raise on the turn just streams so bad as its a common line of strength fishy.

This next one was against a new player and the way he insta-shoved, I really thought I might have been beat. He was new to the table and I had no reads, so there was no way I was folding.

This happened shortly after the KK hand. Just good timing as I am almost 100% sure he was put on tilt after he lost his first buy-in so quick.

I wanted to throw up when he showed me this one. He was running at 28/20/2.5 (VPIP, PFR, Total AF) over 100ish hands, and just couldn’t ever put him on J high. JT was the only bluff I thought he could have but I thought most of his range has me crushed when he shoves. I thought he would value-shove a Q as well as if he was being super goofy with a big pair.

This one was pretty sick cause it happened like one revolution after he showed me the bluff. I guess I could have just flat called, seen a flop before I committed myself, but I don’t think its a mistake to get it in preflop. He just owned my soul the whole night.

I had never seen anything like this guy. He came to the table and over his first 40 hands he was still running at a 94/40/1.4. He had called a couple of my raises and then would donk lead the flop into me EVERY TIME. Right here I finally had something to fight back with and he looked a little silly.

This was a couple hands later against the same maniac. I was a little nervous about the third party in between us but as soon as he folded I told myself I didn’t care what fell, I was going to just call down for value, which was good because he never had any outs.
